Does each unit need to be connected to electricity to function?
We have both AC and DC units that can be connected either to the electrical grid or run off a 12V battery with solar panel options available.

Do the stations need to be connected with a cable/wire in order to communicate with each other?
All our units are equipped with radio modules which enables them to communicate with each other via a state of the art mesh network. This enables our units to relay data to other units that are not directly in reach of the base station.

Does the system need to be connected to the internet to function?
All customer data is stored in the cloud so an internet connection is required to configure the system but once synchronized the system will continue to function during a break in internet connection.

Does each unit need to be manually updated with a laptop/controller?
Both configuration and firmware updates are done via our mesh network which means that no manual configuration/intervention is needed.
